Election 2016-Bernie Sanders Endorsed by HSUS-Exploring Bad Bills Co-Sponsored by Sanders -The Scary Truth
Yeah, I’m feeling the Burn alright-Angered by Sanders record against PEOPLE-Endorsed by the Humane Society Legislative Network (HSLF) the LOBBYING arm of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Translates to Sanders having picked up BIG contributions from HSUS/HSLF all along-Ahhhhh…The things he doesn’t say and not $27.00 per average individual contribution!!! It’s a BIG AR SUPERBUCK (Big AR super scam they don’t want you to know about)-Supporting Sanders means you support HSUS and Animal Rights.
Several previous posts pointed out the difference between the two.
Our constitution was written to protect people-We have laws in place already stating that animals are to be provided with adequate food, water and shelter. Anything beyond the parameter specific to intentional animal cruelty is unnecessary and an overstep of the law. Our Animal Culture must be protected but not with the creation of more costly laws that do nothing towards animal welfare and instead on path towards Animal Rights
Taking a look at what ALL animal owners need to know about Socialist, Bernie Sanders, and how he will ultimately destroy Animal Culture in this country…and this the best that the Democrat Party has to offer!?!
from Sanders campaign headquarters on line:
Bernie Sanders on Animal Welfare
Bernie Sanders is an advocate of animal welfare and ensuring animals’ humane treatment. He has co-sponsored several pieces of legislation to protect the interests of animals and has recently received a 100 percent rating from the Humane Society Legislative Fund (HSLF).
Breeding and Captivity Practices: No animal should be subjected to inhumane commercial breeding habits nor should they be contained within neglected and inadequate shelters.
Breeding and Captivity Practices
Animals that are being bred and kept captive should be kept in the proper environment for a healthy and stress-free life.
What is Bernie’s opinion on inhumane breeding and captivity practices?
Bernie believes that all animals prosper in a good environment. He’s made it clear in his legislative record that it is horrific and cruel to jam an animal into a cramped cage with inadequate food and water.
Bernie cosponsored the Big Cats and Public Safety Protection Act, which would prevent the breeding and possession of big cats. Bernie also cosponsored the Puppy Uniform Protection and Safety Act, which would make breeders and pet stores provide puppies with good environments, and the Captive Primate Safety Act, which would make it unlawful for a person to receive, import, export, acquire, sell, or purchase a live animal of any prohibited wildlife species.
Interrupting this Sanders political announcement to expose the truth! All the above is according to Sanders but as you can see (below), he’s not being entirely honest…
BLOGGERS NOTES- Let’s take an deeper look into these bills to demonstrate the harm and inaccuracies. Their title a mis-nomer that was intentionally done to fool both congressional representatives and the general public as to their content. Links have been provided and the content from those links. All information coming from the most respected Welfare organization, The Cavalry Group…You can find more information from links provided in past posts to other Welfare organizations.
The following acts, co-sponsored by Bernie Sanders (socialist running as a presidential candidate with the Democrat Party), are dangerous and unnecessary as pointed out below:
Big Cat Public Safefy Act (HR 3546) was reintroduced for this 114th Congress.
HR 3546 would ban the breeding and private ownership of big cats which will only put the health and wellbeing of big cat breeds further at risk. The big cats in captivity today are the direct result of over 15 generations of successful captive breeding.
Private facilities have lower accident/fatality incidents than USDA, USDA/AZA and sanctuaries. Big Cats and Public Safety Protection Act is a deceptive piece of legislation written to advance the animal rights agenda promoted by the Humane Society of the United States attempting to solve a crisis which does not exist.
Please write your U.S. Senators and Representatives today and urge them to oppose this deceptive piece of legislation by filling out the easy to use form below.
The bill was reintroduced September, 2015 by other co-sponsors

Puppy Uniform Protection and Safety Act- No longer on track-FAILED ONCE AGAIN-YAY!
The Captive Primate Safety Act proposes to amend the Lacey Act Amendments of 1981 to prohibit the importation, exportation, transportation, and sale, receipt, acquisition, or purchase in interstate or foreign commerce of nonhuman primates as pets. The proponents argue that federal legislation is needed to curb the pet trade of nonhuman primates, which they argue pose health risks to the public, and to protect nonhuman primates from improper care.
The Captive Primate Safety Act was opposed by the Department of the Interior in the 113th Congress because of the costs and hardships associated to enforce this legislation.
There is no public health or safety risk associated with captive primates: According to the statistics cited by the proponents of this bill, there have been 80 recorded injuries from pet monkeys in the U.S. from 1995 to 2005. An American therefore has a 1 in 38 million chance in being bitten by a monkey. Although nonhuman primates can carry zoonotic diseases (which are scientifically possible to transmit to a human and vice versa), there have been NO instances in the United States in which a human has contracted a disease or died from a bite from a pet monkey. There is an absence of an appreciable health risk which is backed up by statistics from the CDC verifying the lack of disease transmission or death from pet nonhuman primates.
This bill would cost $4 million-plus a year to enforce: The estimated costs associated with enforcing this bill are $4 million per year. In addition, the implementation costs have been estimated at $17 million. On a per bite incident basis, the cost that will be spent to prevent each bite is a half a million dollars. This is especially alarming given the present economic conditions of this country and the difficulties in enforcement anticipated by the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Duplicates existing law: Most, if not all, states have laws prohibiting animal cruelty or neglect. Approximately 40 states have some sort of regulation for the ownership of nonhuman primates. In addition, countless municipalities and local governments have ordinances or city codes addressing issues associated with the ownership of nonhuman primates. These local laws represent the balance appropriate for the respective communities and those communities are charged with the responsibility and expense associated with enforcement. For nonhuman primate species determined to have a high need for protection, the Endangered Species Act already prohibits their sale and international trade as pets. Every state already requires a health certificate for entry into the state and it should be left to the states to make these decisions, not the federal government.
Would have negative consequences: This bill does not exempt interstate travel with nonhuman primate in the case of an emergency such as an evacuation due to a tornado or hurricane. Owners would not be able to visit family members in another state and take their pets with them or attend educational opportunities such as seminars and conventions given by nonhuman primate organizations. These educational opportunities are very important for owners to stay current on animal care techniques and enrichment strategies for their pets. Nonhuman primate owners are very serious about the care of their pets that are a part of their family just the same as domestic animals are a part of many American families. This bill would do nothing but create a needless and unfair hardship for the existing owners of these animals.
Overreach by Federal Government: The importation and regulation of primates should be handled by the state and not the Federal Government.

More from the Bern:
Why do some people provide animals with inadequate environments?
People often treat animals poorly in order to save money, though some who abuse animals may gain pleasure from seeing the animal harmed. Others do not believe that animals can suffer or do not see the point in spending money for their animals. Although animals typically require ample space and suitable surroundings in which to thrive, many who are trusted with their care still refuse to provide this for them. Bernie is working to improve animal care through the aforementioned legislation.
Even though livestock animals are raised specifically for consumption, we have an ethical responsibility to make sure they are raised humanely.
What is Bernie doing to improve the conditions of livestock?
Bernie cosponsored the Egg Products Inspection Act, which mandates improved conditions for egg-laying chickens by eliminating the use of uninhabitable cages, phasing in environmental enrichments and embracing economic realities of the industry.
What about the animals which should not be slaughtered for food?
There are certain types of animals the vast majority of Americans view as companions rather than sources of food, such as horses. Bernie co-sponsored the Safeguard American Food Exports Act, which would prohibit the slaughter of horses for meat.
SAVE THE U.S. HORSE INDUSTRY & HORSE WELFARE
The Humane Society of the United States is attempting to issue the final death blow to the American horse industry under the guise of “food safety.” Don’t be fooled!
HR 1942/S 1214, also known as the Safeguard American Food Exports Act (SAFE) is legislation which would amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. If passed, this measure would impose fines and prison time for anyone who sells, transports, imports or exports horses going to a humane, regulated horse processing facility.
As indicated by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) report released in June 2011, and as testified by practically every horse industry and agriculture organization in the U.S., the lack of horse processing in the U.S. has exacerbated the suffering of horses, increased the number of needless and wasteful deaths, and has caused more abandonment, neglect, pain, and misery for horses nationwide.
At a time when the U.S. is poised to solve this disgraceful dilemma for horses and the U.S. horse industry, please help us STOP this deceptive bill which would further destroy the U.S. economy, the horse industry, and the welfare of horses.
This measure sets a dangerous precedent to potentially halt the transport of other livestock animals used for food such as beef cattle and pork. Ultimately, the Safeguard American Food Exports Act is an unconstitutional violation of private property.

Back for more BURN:
Cruelty Toward Animals
Animals should never be subjected to any behavior from a person in a way that causes immense or prolonged suffering.
Agreed-No animal should be subjected to intentional cruelty.
People concerned about the welfare of animals would agree however, there are already laws in place that concern intentional cruelty towards animals. HSUS is a Fanatical Animal Rights NFP organization that wants to end ALL human relations with animals and therefore pushing for more laws to put an end to ALL Animal Culture and US citizens take pride in their ownership of animals and their welfare towards animals. Addition laws would make ownership a dangerous thing.
False insinuations and allegations of cruelty are NOT a reason for the creation of more laws that ultimately limit our freedom of ownership.
I am so burnt from this Sanders campaign-more from his website-
What are Bernie’s views on animal cruelty?
Bernie has championed the fight against animal cruelty, receiving a rating of 100 percent from the Humane Society Legislative Fund (HSLF), indicating a pro-animal welfare voting record.
What policy proposals has Bernie supported?
Bernie cosponsored the Animal Fighting Spectator Prohibition Act, which would criminalize attending an animal fighting event. He also cosponsored the Prevent All Soring Tactics (PAST) Act, which would impose harsh penalties on those who use a method of encouraging horses to lift their legs higher by causing pain in their feet.
The P.A.S.T. Act (HR 3268/S1942) was written and sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States, an animal rights organization that seeks to destroy all animal ownership.
• HR 3268/S 1942 vastly expands the jurisdiction of federal inspectors and calls for oversight without funding.
• HR 3268/S 1942 does NOTHING to address the problem of unethical participants who are already in violation of existing laws.
• HR 3268/S 1942 amends the Horse Protection Act which already imposes strong rules and regulations on the Tennessee Walking Horse Industry.
• HR 3268/S 1942 issues penalties based on the standards of the animal rights groups.
• The economic impact of HR 3268/S 1942 would be detrimental to farriers, veterinarians, feed and tack companies, restaurants, motels, retail stores, trailer/truck dealers, and many more businesses.
• If passed, HR 3268/S 1942 will remove all pads, weighted shoes, and all action devices from show horses of three specified breeds—Tennessee Walking Horse, Racking Horse, and Spotted Saddle Horse.
This misguided and deceptive bill would destroy what is left of the walking horse industry and do NOTHING to stop cruelty!
Please follow the above link to Cavalry Group and send your message to your congressional representatives to let them know that you are against this bill-Just takes a second-Thanks!
Oh, back to more from the Burn (yawn)-
Endangered species and all wild animals must be protected from human caused threat and allowed to flourish in their natural habitats.
How has Bernie been ranked by pro-wildlife organizations?
Bernie has received a 100 percent score from Defenders of Wildlife, an organization dedicated to the protection of wildlife in their natural habitats.
Bloggers Note -Who are the Defenders of Wildlife?
Another big 501-c-3 organization claiming to protect conservation for North American animals and plants. As of 2011 Assets in were in excess of $35 million dollars with an annual income in excess of $30 million -I smell a scam -Seems it has been reported as going against conservation no matter their claim, they are operating off pure emotion rather than scientific facts…Now I know I smell a rat and sounds much like all the other Fanatical Animal Rights Organizations that Bernie Sanders supports. Much like his presidential campaign; both operating off pure emotion while neglecting actual facts.
These are big rich and powerful Not for Profit organizations that can’t be ignored when considering our next president-Scary thought…Bernie Sanders, the Socilist or Hillary Clinton, a national traitor to our country, becomes the next president!!! Both have very powerful and rich Not for Profit organizations backing them-Chilling thought indeed!!!
What actions has Bernie taken to protect endangered species?
Bernie voted in favor of prohibiting any funding intended for the destruction of wild animals for the purpose of protecting livestock unless humans or animal species are under threat. He voted against the weakening of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 and voted in favor of two amendments to strengthen it. In 2008, Bernie signed onto this letter to the U.S. Department of the Interior, opposing efforts to weaken the protection of endangered species.
Taking a closer look at Fanatical Animal Rights terrorist Organizations-the Humane Society of the United States/Humane Society Legislative Fund tops the list. However , there are numerous Not for Profits that have slipped in along the way over the past 50+ years-They are obviously NOT charitable organizations.
One of the best resources for information (Bookmark this link to your favorites!!!): https://www.activistfacts.com
“This site, created by the Center for Organizational Research and Education (CORE), is committed to providing detailed and up-to-date information about organizations and activists. We have analyzed scores of media clippings, official statements, and government documents to create this database.
The organizations we track on this site are tax-exempt nonprofits, many of which engage in anti-consumer activism. Many are linked by personnel, history, and finances. These groups promote false science, scare campaigns, and sometimes even violent “direct actions” to threaten our right to choose certain products.
Some have gone far beyond their founding principles in their anti-consumer agendas. Others use misleading names to hide their radical agendas and engage in hypocritical and deceptive practices. Many over-inflate public health causes to enact punitive taxes and bans on our favorite foods and beverages. These activists trade on undeserved good names to attack our consumer choices.
This site is dedicated to showing the true faces of these radical organizations.”
Taking a look at HSUS/HSLF- https://www.activistfacts.com/organizations/136-humane-society-of-the-united-states/
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is a radical animal rights group that inaccurately portrays itself as a mainstream animal care organization. The words “humane society” may appear on its letterhead, but HSUS is not affiliated with your local animal shelter. Despite the omnipresent dogs and cats in its fundraising materials and television commercials, it’s not an organization that runs spay/neuter programs or takes in stray, neglected, and abused pets. And quite unlike the common image of animal protection agencies as cash-strapped organizations dedicated to animal welfare, HSUS has become the wealthiest animal rights organization on earth.
MORE at the link but some words ring in my ears that make this organization a National threat “HSUS has become the wealthiest animal rights organization on earth.”
Bernie Sanders is supported and a supporter of HSUS/HSLF and while he certainly seems to take pride in his involvement with HSUS/HSLF I can not help but wonder why other animal lovers and owners ignore this fact and have become supporters of a presidential candidate who 1) Is a socialist and 2) Is a Fanatical Animal Rights Terrorist!
Disclaimer connected to this blog…Things said are of my opinion and the opinions of others…WHEW, this might be my longest post to date and one of the most important-Thank you for reading and please follow this blog-Tweet and share in your social networks so others can be informed and able to send a message to their representatives!!! -B
Be sure to send your message to the Bern-let him know you’re not feeling it.
(More coming soon on Republican Presidential Candidates Kasich-The worst Animal Rights Governor in the US today and possibly Marco Rubio who recently accepted a campaign contribution from Carole Baskin CEO Big Cat Rescue with money donated for animal care. For now I need a small break from this blog…)
