Zoo Wars~ Taking Action for Investigation of Carole Baskin Over MISSING Husband

Petition 12-2-2014 Find Don Lewis

Take seriously and re-open the missing person case of Don L. Lewis. Investigate the possibility of his murder by his wife Carole Lewis Baskin.

For years it has been rumored that Ms. Baskin (formally Lewis) murdered her husband, Don Lewis and either fed him to the tigers or buried him under a septic tank that was installed on their property the day after he was reported missing.  Just a short time prior to his “disappearance”, Don sought out a restraint order against Ms. Baskin claiming she threatened to kill him and that she took his guns.  Witnesses have come forward and claimed they were forced to “witness” a signing of a “Power of Attorney” which they claim was a fraud.  And that the word “disappearance” was added to the document prior to Ms. Baskin signing it.  Which many thought was a strange thing to add to such a document if it was signed prior to Mr. Lewis’ actual “disappearance”.

Please sign this petition in order to bring light to a very dark time for a man whose life and subsequent disappearance does matter.  We want justice for Don L. Lewis, the “missing millionaire”!!!

If Carole Baskin is not guilty she should welcome this investigation for closure despite the fact that she moved on-including seeing other people shortly after he went missing!!! Sign the petition and share WILDLY!!!

  1. More than one source says that Don Lewis disappeared on August 18, 1997. There is a date stamp on that document that says “September 2, 1997.” Is there a place on that document that has what is supposedly Don Lewis’s signature next to a date?

    • I don’t have a copy of the entire document but a good point!!! I wish I did have more information. If the County Attorney does an open investigation it should be looked at as well as interviews with everyone concerned with this document-I’m wondering about a lot of things including why there was never a full investigation and why Baskin refused a polygraph. -B

  2. I believe the Sept. 2 1997 date stamp on the side of this document is the date it was filed and received by the Clerk of the Court in Hillsborough County, FL. They date stamp every filing when it is received.

It is telling though that this document was filed with the court so soon after his so called disappearance. If it was truly believed he only ‘went missing’ why would this type of document be filed with the court so soon – just two weeks after he didn’t return home. I think it was mentioned somewhere Carole being quoted as saying “it was common for Don not to come home for a few days at a time without calling to say where he was”.

Again, if that was common behavior of Don, why file this document so soon?
This appears to be proof that it was known Don would never be returning.

    • Hopefully the County Attorney will reopen the case and do a more through investigation into this matter!!! Don’t forget he asked for a protective order and was denied!!! The whole thing doesn’t add up…And there’s more to all this than meets the eye!!! -B
