ZOO WARS~Awwwwwww, PETA seems a wee-bit upset…too funny!!!

“WYNNEWOOD, Okla. —The owner of a controversial zoo is releasing a music video that takes shots at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and government regulations regarding exotic pet ownership.”

“VIDEO: Zoo’s protest video depicts people hugging, petting tiger lion and bear”

Off course they were-NOTHING illegal in that video, lol-Complain all you like PETA-HA! What idiots-Thank you Joe-their true faces showing in embarrassment from their ignorance…Don’t even ask how big a hug you get the next time I see you!!!

Those people in the video, OWN those animals and is no crime to love on and care for you tiger, lion or bear…Hug ’em, kiss ’em and love them.  I did the same with each and every performance and a reason they wanted me gone…In front of thousands on a daily basis, nothing new about it accept that now the secrete lives of Private Owners is coming forward and brought out to demonstrate that these animals are no different than any other. You properly provide and you properly confine when you take on the responsibility of ANY animal…

A quote from PETA was they had no issue with our performance they just didn’t want anyone to see it…Told us to retire, put the animals in our backyard and there would be no issue-Yaro chuckled and said he would continue until the day he died…and that’s exactly what he did; He passed away shortly after an incredible weekend with the circus in Portland, Oregon…What he thought was an asthma attack was a bit more than what he had been told…But at least his career ended with a high note…He remarked to me what a great audience that was for each and every show…I have often wondered if that audience noticed the struggle for the performers and how gentle the animals were that weekend…I wondered if they considered that they could be watching our final performances as we went thru the motions; the cats demonstrating they knew the act as well as we did with very few cues from us and all the hugs and kisses we shared with our beloved animals would be our last together and would have to last a lifetime…As one of the greatest moments in both our lives-As it was then and reason for creating such a gentle act -as it is now-SCREW YOU PETA !!!

The G.W. Zoological Park in Wynnewood is under federal investigation after a tiger attacked an employee last year — but that didn’t stop the zoo from featuring the big cats interacting with people in their new video.

The owner of the G.W. Zoo, Joe “Exotic” Schriebvogel, sent KOCO a link to his video but he wasn’t at the park Monday to talk about it.

No one else on staff at the zoo would comment.

According to the facility’s website, the zoo is planning on taking in 30 more exotic animals that were taken away from their previous owners. They hope the new video will help raise the funds to pay for the project.

Schriebvogel, a self-proclaimed country music artist and owner of the zoo, is featured in the video asking for donations for the United States Zoological Association.

Also featured in the video are people hugging and petting tigers, a lion and a bear. Those in the video even lie down and cuddle with the big cats.

“A select group of animal owners’ rights are being stripped away,” Schriebvogel says in the video.

The video shows a man dressed like a sheriff taking a wolf away from a crying woman. The zoo suggests enforcement of unjust laws leads to animal deaths.

“The thing that lawmakers don’t understand is when you take an animal away from the only home it’s ever been in, it goes through a mourning process and 90 percent of the animals taken away end up dying,” Schriebvogel said.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said the new video takes it too far. “Joe Schriebvogel’s video isn’t just a pathetic attempt to mislead the public about the peril and cruelty of privately owning exotic animals — it was also likely illegal to make, wrote Delcianna Winders, PETA Foundation’s deputy general counsel.

“Direct contact between the public and dangerous wild animals, as apparently shown in the video, is a violation of federal law, and PETA will be filing complaints.”

The USDA said it is looking into the video as part of an ongoing safety investigation.

Guess this video, like my cat act, has ruffled a few feathers-GOOD!!! Owners can do as they please with their animals what they like.

No member of the public or owner, for that matter, was injured in the making of this video-I guess the last laugh belongs to Joe and private owners everywhere that know the TRUTH about their animals and what PETA, HSUS, ASPCA, and all the others don’t want you to know…

It’s not about the animals of public safety-it NEVER was…It’s about the money–Feeling Jacked yet?!?!…

Most my animals stolen away from me are dead. Disclaimer connected to this blog…Things said are of my opinion and the opinions of others…Stay tuned and PLEASE, share the message   -B

  1. I watched that video and cried. I KNOW the AGONY of watching a beloved animal being snatched from the only home it has ever known and I KNOW the AGONY of wondering what I did wrong. But in time I have come to KNOW I DID NOTHING wrong. The wrongs committed were by the people that ripped my animals from me and from their home. I stand accused of LOVING too much no matter what the world may say. We owners of ANY animal exotic or domestic need to stand up for ALL of our rights to own what ever animal or animals our hearts desire and our pocketbooks can afford to care for. Almost 4 years later and I still search fields and websites for my missing pieces of my heart. The holes left in me will never be filled but because of that echoing ache in me I will stand beside Joe and any other loving animal owner and fight to my dying breath to never have to watch another animal owner say goodbye to their animals under duress!

    • I know how you feel and what you are going thru-I too have kept looking until recently when I decided to try to clear my mind of it…It doesn’t mend a broken heart or stop my mind from wondering how those animals felt-are feeling and every time I watch those videos of animals reuniting with their owners, my heart breaks all over again…

  2. Oh, wow. (Joe) “… is featured in the video asking for donations for the United States Zoological Association.” -Is this something PETA, HSUS, and all the others don’t do? Really unethical of him, isn’t it?
