Police Dog eats Hamster

So a bird with feather loss is proof of animal cruelty now-interesting-NOT!!! I’m not quite sure why he pled out; especially after what happened to his pet hamster!!! No drugs but apparently they just had to pin something on him-why not animal cruelty?!? Easy score-easy win and they get to keep the bird as merchandize-how much better can it get??? -Got it, he pled out…Holy Cow (excuse the pun) -I can’t help but wonder why!!!

If a police dog isn’t properly trained, why the Hell are they using him-Or is it the handler wasn’t properly trained?!? What the Hell, he couldn’t control the dog?!? Then he had no business owning and controlling a police dog…dangerous to the public and apparently hamsters if you were to ask me…

Police Dog Eats Suspects Hamster During Drug Raid

Drug Busting Police Dog Eats Pet Hamster A police dog brought to a home in Werneth on a routine drug bust managed to eat the suspect’s pet hamster during the raid.

According to the HUff Post, a dog specially trained to sniff out illegal drugs knocked over the hamster’s cage at the home of Musa Kahn in Greater Manchester, then chased the creature before swallowing it. After the dog was forced to cough up the tiny creature, it was unfortunately already dead. No drugs were found during the course of the surprise raid.

Kahn was called to appear in court, however, when police discovered that a parakeet living in his home was not being properly cared for and he was charged with animal cruelty.

The suspect pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and was fined and instructed not to have any more pet birds for a period of at least 24 months for keeping his parakeet in a dirty cage on the floor situated too close to a heating unit.

But Tim Hughes, defending, told the court the parakeet, called Miko, was already losing its feathers when it arrived at Khan’s home in, Oldham, Greater Manchester, and he nursed it back to health.

He added: “By his account the bird was on the up.” There has been no word if Kahn will sue police officials for the loss of his pet hamster or if the police have offered to replace the rodent which was eaten by their drug-sniffing dog in the course of doing his duties during the drug raid.
