Zoo Wars XV -HSUS, Fund for Animals, Black Beauty Ranch, Lions, Tigers and Bears -California-Scamming for Donations!!!

How dare these so called sanctuaries make the claims they do for what they need for money for a ‘rescue’…What are they doing, going to Europe and back?!? It’s outrageous even with the price of fuel being what it is…$40,000.00 to go load up some bears and drive across country which by the way is not an overnight trip if going all the way to California!!! But if the claim of ‘responsible’ is true that means they are sleeping near the animals and NOT in a fancy hotel or going to the best/fancy restaurants but instead, with animals unaccustomed to being transported, staying nearby making certain the animals are doing well would be a requirement!!!…Even when transporting animals that are accustomed to it -You do not leave them outside while you ‘go to the hotel’…So, what’s the deal?!? As a 501-c-3, they are open records-I have asked for a work up to see what’s with the claim of needing $40,000.00!!! They aren’t renting a rental truck like others have wrongly done I might add…Having transported animals for more than 2 decades…I know the expense…Having gone recently from on a rescue of 5 tigers from Wynnewood,OK to  Wisconsin and back was no where near that figure!!!

Ok, what’s this all about?!? Why I’m on a rant -THIS!!!…

from The Humane Society of the United States – Ohio  [ https://www.facebook.com/HSUSOhio?fref=ts ]
Last year Bobbi Brink, director of Lions, Tigers & Bears sanctuary in California, led several rescue teams to relocate dozens of exotic animals from substandard facilities in Ohio.

Now she is on a new mission to rescue seven bears — one in Covington, Ohio, and six in Prospect, Ohio. A rescue like this is very expensive, costing up to $40,000.

You can learn more and contribute at… [sorry people I do not promote a SCAM-You want to be SCAMMED then follow the link… ]

Lions, Tigers and Bears is accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS).

The Humane Society of the United States – Ohio
Hi Virginia – HSUS support was essential in rescuing the dozens of exotic animals already removed from failed sanctuaries and private owners in Ohio and transported to accredited sanctuaries around the country. HSUS also assisted in this recent rescue of almost a dozen big cats from a substandard facility in Kansas. Some of these animals now reside at the HSUS’s Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch in Texas  [More at the above link- I repeat, I will NOT support a SCAM to promote Black Beauty Ranch…essentially this is HSUS gathering animals and to their recent claim to animals SEIZED, is a tiger…ONE TIGER, not ‘some of these animals’ ]
HSUS is…
1) Attempting to claim they support animals In reality is less than 1% of the contributions they receive- It’s BULLSHIT!!! 2) It’s a fraud with no one checking the animals 3) An attempt to beat the IRS investigation 4) HSUS helped create the Ohio law…notice the claim about where the animals are coming from…If it were true that the animals were coming from deplorable conditions and a failed facility…HSUS would go in with their team wearing their blue HSUS t-shirts, slam the owners-have them arrested on trumped up charges and then call in the media to participate in their theft of property so the general public ends up deceived by the entire ordeal and the money flows!!! https://topcatsroar.wordpress.com/2013/05/08/zoo-wars-xiii-what-a-stink/

Now as I recall…Correct me if I’m wrong (If you sense a bit of sarcasm-you’re right!!!) But HSUS was the supporter of the new Ohio law and Alcatraz for exotic animals…the ultimate death sentence for exotic animals…and proud of it!?! Damn right they did!!! They like the results of their deed so why now are they ‘saving the bears’?!? And what an insult to think us so stupid that we’ll ever forget their attack on exotic animals and their owners!!! Well screw you Pacelle -We’ll NEVER forget…NEVER!!! Screw you Tippi Hedron and Carole Baskin…This was the last draw…Jack Hanna, now considered the enemy, we most certainly have learned his true colors when he attempted to STEAL Marian Thompson’s animals from her and lest we forget his support of the stinkin’ bill…and the possible HELL he would rather have for the animals-WHY TORTURE THE ANIMALS?!? And why now go to the trouble to claim rescue-Could it be the federal legislature is considering a ban?!? You bet it is part of their ploy!!! Sorry -it’s about to back-fire!!! Let the truth be known!!!

Are these animals kept like the animals in Ohio in Alcatraz?!? https://topcatsroar.wordpress.com/2013/03/01/ohios-exotic-animal-facility-now-open/

Black Beauty Ranch is a closed facility!!! It’s USDA is listed as The Fund for Animals, Inc. Inspection reports indicate lack of adequate veterinary care-Now lacking vet care is probably the easiest to comply with-HELLO!!!-you hire a vet and he/she signs a few documents-No excuse acceptable for lacking proper vet care!!! The animal gets sick or injured…you go to the vet!!! It ain’t rocket science and this is repeated more than once!!!-This is a GFAS sanctuary and owned by HSUS!!! Licensed to (get this) Fund for Animals…Follow the links below and be educated about what a scam this really is!!!

911AnimalAbuse.org brings you the other side of the story!

HSUS and Its Record

Dangerous conditions…sweltering heat for primates…an area cluttered with feces…possible violations of animal-welfare regulations.

These phrases could all describe U.S. Department of Agriculture inspections of HSUS facilities. On a reader tip, we checked out the USDA inspection reports for several facilities run by HSUS or the Fund for Animals, an HSUS affiliate. The USDA’s APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) performs regular inspections of facilities across the US to make sure animal welfare regulations are being followed. And it turns out HSUS isn’t exactly immaculate when it comes to running its facilities.

According to these reports, the USDA found a number of “non-compliances” at the HSUS/Fund for Animals Black Beauty Ranch in Texas. Here’s what the USDA inspector found during three site visits in 2010 and 2011:

  • (8/23/10) view USDA report
“Management needs to develop a program of veterinary care which includes all animals on premise.”
  • (8/23/10) view USDA report
“Management was informed that the ventilation (fans) that are being used for some of the primates were inadequate due to the temperatures in Texas during the hot summer months.”
  • (8/23/10) view USDA report
“It was noted that the commissary and the primary enclosure housing two lemurs contained rodent feces on the floor.”
  • (5/10/11) view USDA report
“Wood perches in several primate enclosures contained damaged wood…Rust in several non-contact areas […] affects the integrity of the structural strength of the enclosures.”
  • (5/10/11) view USDA report
“Nine vials of expired tetanus antitoxin injections, one 1000 ml 5% Dextrose solution and a bottle of acepromazine were noted in the pharmaceutical section of the food procession room.”
  • (10/3/11) view USDA report
“Five (1ml) vials and one 100ml (partial used for treatment) antibiotics were noted in the pharmaceutical section of the food processing room…This is a repeated citation.”
  • (10/3/11) view USDA report
“A broken perching post pointing upward with a sharp jagged edge was noted in the primary enclosure housing three gibbons.”
  • (5/2/12) view USDA report
“It was noted that the Program of Veterinary Care had not been updated for the new addition animals obtained by the facility. The PVC must be updated regular to insure that all animals are provided adequate health care.”

Now, to be fair, the ranch did well on its two most recent inspections. But you could see how HSUS would spin these reports if the inspections had been done on a farm they were targeting. The script practically writes itself. Just add grainy and dimly lit footage to a horror movie soundtrack and you’re in business.

Zoos, circuses, farms and even HSUS ranches have a big job when it comes to providing quality care for animals. HSUS needs to be careful that their sensationalistic tactics don’t come back to bite them.

Disclaimer connected to this blg…Things said are of my opinion and the opinion of others…Stay tuned for more and Zoo Wars  Best -B

animal seizures and rescues are being conducted by a very sophisticated network of

organized crime who have developed a very sophisticated scheme by which they are

criminalizing longstanding animal and livestock owners; divesting them of

ownership of entire herds of livestock and commercially valuable animals.

all of it done at taxpayer expense and thru a highly developed scheme to collect
