Craig Grant plans to sue ASPCA -That makes me smile!!!

“are you aware that animal seizures and rescues are being conducted by a very sophisticated network of organized crime who have developed a very sophisticated scheme by which they are criminalizing longstanding animal owners; divesting them of ownership of entire herds of livestock and commercially valuable animals.

-all of this done at taxpayer expense?!?”

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –

Caboodle Ranch owner Craig Grant, who had almost 700 cats confiscated by authorities in February of 2012, is speaking to the media for the first time in months to try and clear his name and get his pets back.

“I’m fighting with the little money that I have. I am a charity and it’s cost me almost $40,000 at this point,” said Grant.

Grant was charged with animal cruelty last year and pleaded not guilty. He maintains he was giving a home to animals no one else wanted.

“I was giving homeless cats a place to live they were kicked around too much – my Caboodle Ranch was a permanent home for them,” said Grant.

But Rhonda Windman, Medical Director for the ASPCA, said the cats were very sick and in danger with Grant.

“We saw a lot of upper respiratory infections and we also saw a lot of hair matting…so just a lot of signs of neglect and not being cared for very well over a long period of time,” said Windham.

Most of the cats were nursed back to health and adopted out at shelters in around Jacksonville early last year.

Grant is planning to sue the ASPCA citing the group unrightfully confiscated his personal pets, and he wants them back.

“They were not supposed to give out my cats, they were supposed to give me back my personal cats,” said Grant.

Most of the cats were adopted out last year…and what happened to the ones that weren’t?!?

Isn’t that interesting-now they can be cured and re-homed. So the man takes in the healthy and the sick and condemned for it…It should matter they were receiving treatment at the time of the raid…that evidence should not be used against the owner. Now the ASPCA rescuers are doing the same thing -treating cats for respiratory. So they blamed someone else  for the condition, stole his animals, re-homing them and charging him for the expense…all in the ‘name of rescue’ -BULLSHIT!!!

Cats near death dumped there and for years. He nurses them back to health and defamed for having done it… Accusing him of neglect…BULLSHIT!!! Are these big national groups the only ones allowed to treat their animals!?! If so, then send them your cat when he gets sick, to be returned after they nurse it back to good health….How about ALL of us scream for justice!!! This national group wants payment for their deed-Are you kidding me?!? Run another commercial, lol…

Seems more reasonable to me that as TAXPAYER flipping the bill to prosecute these BULLSHIT cases should send the legal fees for this to the ASPCA… Next thing you know, they will be awarded his property…BULLSHIT!!!

  1. Hey this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors
or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
