“WHY ARE YOU TURNING AGAINST US??? PLEASE say NO to HB310″

This will take a quick minute of your time…4 clicks…c/p the subject onto the subject line and into the body of you message:

Please Say NO to SB310…Say NO to ALL Bans

NEXT c/p the talking points below…
Last c/p paste the list of Ohio House of representatives email list as provided below… Hit send…

You do NOT have to be from Ohio…You do NOT have to own an exotic animal…You do NOT have to own any animal or even like animals. Be an American, tell them to fix the regulation as is unconstitutional and to say NO to all bans!!!

From Polly Britton, Legislative Agent for Ohio Association of Animal Owners

Please write to the members of the Ohio House of Representatives TODAY if possible, or at least by the weekend. They will likely be voting on the bill next Tuesday, and they will need time to consider your thoughts and discuss it with the other House members.

Here are a few ‘talking points’ to include in your email:
•Federally (USDA) licensed and inspected professional animal facilities need to be exempt, as they are inspected by the same government agency that inspects the AZA and ZAA facilities.
•The exotic animal auction, which is also USDA licensed and inspected, needs to be able to sell these animals to USDA licensed facilities.
•A real grandfather clause needs to be added, allowing owners to replace animals that die.
•Permit fees need to be similar to USDA’s or ODNR’s; they are currently 6 times as high as USDA’s, and more than 12 times as high as ODNR’s. Both of these agencies can license and inspect for a reasonable fee, why can’t ODA?
•Ohio recently repealed the law that designated all pit bull dogs as “vicious” and required $100,000 liability insurance. Senate Bill 310 designates a long list of animals as “dangerous” or “restricted” and requires insurance in amounts of $200,000 to $1,000,000 for animals that, like the pit bull dogs, have not injured or killed anyone.

The USDA licensed owners and the pet owners supported each other in their testimony over the past six weeks. We need to continue to do so. If you’re among the few who are exempted in the amended House version (owners of marmosets, squirrel monkeys, capuchins and lemurs), remember, you still have to register your animals and meet whatever standards of care Ohio Dept of Agriculture comes up with.

I believe that SB310 is unconstitutional and can be challenged if voted into law. Everyone seems to forget this fact however taking it to the court system comes at a price!!! It does cost money to fill and for representation…I believe that exotic animal owners will fight this if voted in supported by animal owners everywhere…H$U$ does not have the answer to welfare laws and BANS most certainly are out of the question as this law is geared for banning certain animals…Will mean that animals will be displaced and euthanized (MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD) which is representative of the Animal Rights Extremists and their organizations, H$U$/PETA/ASPCA/ADLF and others…promoting veganism and ending All rights of animal ownership…They control Animal Law and have a large number at their beckon call, to push their view of animal welfare and public safety…however there is no public safety issue:

via REXANO –

Here are few facts: since 1990, on average 0.7 people get killed each year in the USA by captive tigers, majority are owners and trainers themselves, aka occupational/hobby hazard, NOT a public safety issue. This includes all tigers, from pets to major zoos. To bring it in perspective, about 125 people get killed in USA in traffic accidents EACH DAY.

http://www.rexano.org//Education.htm
http://www.rexano.org/Statistics/REXANOAZATABLE.pdf

Nobody knows how many tigers really are in the USA, but whether it is 5000 or 7000, it is a good thing. Wild tigers will be extinct in the wild pretty soon, as their main threat is the habitat loss due to human encroachment. Major zoos in the USA manage only 3 tiger subspecies, and have around 200-300 tigers set aside for breeding. That is very few individuals to guarantee that they will not be inbreeding and produce deformed tigers in the next few years. Imagine how inbred humans would be with so few individuals. The American zoo’s tigers will never be released back to the wild anytime soon if ever.

American private self supporting sector is needed with our thousands of tigers to guarantee the tiger’s future survival. Private sector does it for much less money than donation depended major zoos and hypocritical sanctuaries, who get millions in donations, while the wild tiger is going extinct. By making private ownership of tigers illegal, these short sighted ‘Neanderthal Ignoramus Hypocriticus’ are sentencing tigers to a total extinction, in the wild as well as in captivity.

This is NOT the American way and more the way of the New World Order of Agenda 21…Even if protecting animal welfare is not ‘your thing’ it is important that we continue to fight for the American, your freedom is dependent on it!!!

….your ignorance is their power….

“Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound
reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world
has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both
governments and individuals and an unprecedented
redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift
will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences
of every human action be integrated into individual and
collective decision-making at every level.”
– UN Agenda 21

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“The current course of development is thus clearly unsustainable.
Current problems cannot be solved by piecemeal measures.
More of the same is not enough. Radical change from the
current trajectory is not an option, but an absolute necessity.
Fundamental economic, social and cultural changes that
address the root causes of poverty and environmental
degradation are required and they are required now.”
No other messages will be posted to this blog until after the final Ohio House vote…expected on Tuesday Unless there is something for an update…PLEASE, Share this message WILDLY!!!
found a letter I though quite good and well written, here’s part of it -a sample letter and frankly…I have no problem with the same letter going out…one letter, one message…works for me!!!
Dear Representative,
Although Senate Bill 310 seems like a solution to a rather simple issue, the complex language and overall achievement would be far from simple. The wording in SB 310 is not only unconstitutional, not Biblical, and certainly not economical for the state of Ohio. This Bill violates at least 4 of the 20 Bill of Rights in the Ohio Constitution and where in the Ohio Tax Code livestock and animals were considered Private Property and could not be taxed. The Bible is rather clear who He gave dominion of the animals to and that it would not be fair or just to assign all that authority to someone like Jack Hanna, or to a group of people who had no prior knowledge or consideration for the lives and well being of many of the species listed on this Bill. The economical jeopardy for the state of Ohio would come from several lawsuits, litigation and expense in agents to implement such a task. Many innocent people would have injury brought upon them from the enforcement of this bill and to what effect?
Some would like for you to believe that it is a public safety issue, and though there have been a few incidents involving large carnivores, the public is not any safer with this Bill than without it. If you removed all of the large cats, bears and wolves from the care and custody of their rightful owners, people are still at risk riding horses, milking cows, or walking in a state park. Incidentally, the History Channel just aired a documentary on the animals that cause the most deaths. They reported that deer claimed more human lives than any other animal in the US, and most of them were from people walking in the woods during rut season. So where is the public concern about safety?
It may never be clear to someone why a person has an infatuation about owning a venomous snake, an alligator, a bear or a hamster. We all have our Rights to pursue happiness and when given the opportunity to engage in that dream why does the government have to find a way to regulate, encumber or profit from that activity?  We already have several laws and restrictions on where we can own horses, pigs and even chickens; we have laws that stipulate what happens when one person’s activity or behavior infringes on another person’s property or life. What we don’t have is a state requirement to prevent legislators to only create constitutional legislation so that we can live as a Free Society, and by the creation of more and more laws for every incident that occurs, shows there is no faith in our judicial system or no faith in our laws that we already have. It has to stop. The only set of standards we should all live by with NO EXEMPTIONS is our Constitutions.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter that is very important to me.
Please, vote No to SB310.
Sincerely,
Animals owners are under attack!!!
  1. You can send more than one email and make sure you sign it…I sent a few…one with Polly’s talking points and the other expressing that there is no public safety issue and an Animal Rights Extremists ploy for control…I used the REXANO statics as they are factual.
